Peter De Cock was born on Saturday, 7 April, in 1956.
When he completed secondary school in 1974 at Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege in Antwerp, Latin-Sciences Division, he continued his education at the University of Antwerp. In 1979, Peter De Cock was registered as attorney with the Bar Association of Antwerp.
In 1995, Peter De Cock was admitted as Rechtsanwalt for the German courts. He is registered as Rechtsanwalt with the Hanseatische Rechtsanwaltkammer in Hamburg.
Peter De Cock continually takes training and refresher courses, a number of them with honors. A detailed list is presented here. Peter De Cock, in addition to Dutch, is fluent in German, English, and French.
In addition to his passion for his work, Peter De Cock is an enthusiastic musician in his free time (primarily drums and guitar) and an athlete (running and power training). In addition, he is a fervent animal lover.
